Here is where to look to find that information. The quick and easy way to tell is to go to the Apple Menu and choose About This Mac. There you will see the version of Mac OS X running, your processor type and amount of memory (RAM). If you ever need the serial number for your Mac, you can get it by clicking twice on the "Version 10.x.x." You can also click on More Info... to learn more about your Mac than you would ever want to know. Donate $1
