Apple recently updated me.com, the web access to email, calendars, contacts, web galleries, iDisk and Find my iPhone for MobileMe users. While the changes aren't revolutionary, they do improve on the me.com experience.
All the applications have gotten a facelift which makes them cleaner looking. Gone are the icons across the top to switch applications. Instead you click on the Cloud icon and a the icons appear in the middle of the screen.
Mail has a new 3 column layout which works better on the wide screens most computers have nowadays. The other applications look and act more like the Mac applications on your computer. In general, the speed of me.com has increased considerably.
The biggest change for me was that me.com now works with Internet Explorer 7 on a PC. The old version of me.com was unworkable on Internet Explorer 7 which made it impossible for me to access me.com at work. Even though the current version of Internet Explorer for the PC is version 8, many people and businesses (like mine) have not upgraded yet. me.com still gives you a warning that it worn't work well if you load it in Internet Explorer 7, but if you continue past the warning, everything seems to work just fine.
me.com is a benefit of MobileMe that Apple doesn't advertise well, but it can be an invaluable tool to access your personal data when you are away from your Mac.
