The real live photo booths of old would take four pictures in quick succession. Now Photo Booth can do the same thing and more.
When you are in picture taking mode, there are three buttons on the lower left. The first gives you a single shot, the middle one gives you four quick shots and the right button lets you make a movie in Photo Booth.
As with a single shot, you can add the four-shots and movies into iPhoto, make them your Account pic or make them your Buddy Pic in iChat. If you choose a four-shot or a movie to be your Buddy Pic, your Buddy Pic will rotate through the four shots or play the movie that you made.
