I end every email message with the following text:
Basics4Mac - Live Mac Help 1-317-426-0538
Basics4Mac.com
I don't type that every time I write a new email. I've created a signature in Mail that is inserted into every new message.
People use all sorts of different signatures to end their emails. For example:
- The funny quote: "Never go to bed mad. Stay up and fight." (Phyllis Diller)
- The inspirational quote: "You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose." (Dr. Suess)
- A photo of themselves

- A scan of their signature

In other words, an email signature can be anything you want it to be.
To add a signature to your email messages
- In Mail, go to
Preferences
- Choose the Signatures section
- Click the + button to create a new signature
- In the space on the right, type your quote or
drag
a photo from the Finder or iPhoto.
You can have as many signatures as you wish. When you create a new message, you can choose which signature to use.
