The Safari Bookmarks Bar

The space directly below the Address bar in Safari is called the Bookmarks bar. You can easily add your own bookmarks for quick access to those sites.

  1. Go to the site you want to want to add to the Bookmarks bar.
  2. Click and drag the small icon to the left of the address to the Bookmarks bar. The other bookmarks on the bar will move around so you can place the new one in whatever position you like.
  3. When you let go of the mouse button, a sheet will drop down and ask you to name the bookmark. It is best to choose the shortest name possible so your bookmark doesn't take up too much space on the Bookmarks bar.
